REGISTRATION
Public Registration Opens: Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at 10am Quebec Eastern Standard Time
Registration Closes: Monday, August 31st, 2026 at 11:59pm Quebec Eastern Standard Time
No onsite registration available.
Riders must register in the same category for all events (there is not an option to register in Elite for one event and Amateur for another).
Key notes for Registering
- Competitors will need to create an account and set up an athlete profile
- The account and athlete profile will be used for all Crankworx festivals and events moving forward.
- Only ONE account and profile is required.
- Once an athlete profile is created, competitors can register for races through their profile.
**For competitors 17 years and younger, a parent can create a profile and add their children under “Manage Additional Athletes”
**Please note, you can only have ONE tab open in a browser at a time to register an athlete.
License
An FQSC license is MADATORY to participate in any of our events, except for the Kidsworx XC (recreational activity). If you do not already have an annual license, you can purchase it now through the FQSC’s online platform.
A fee of $20 is required by the Fédération québécoise des Sports Cyclistes (FQSC).
Validity of licenses
Valid annual licenses:
- UCI licenses from other provinces are valid
- DOMESTIC licenses from other domestic provinces are not valid
**All FQSC annual licenses are UCI licenses.
Daily license:
- 1 license per event (including training days)
- The link to purchase the event license indicates September 7, but the licenses are valid for all events during the week.
Available only for Canadian citizen. For international rider you need the UCI licence to participate.
For Parents
If you are a parent registering multiple children, you can only register one child at a time. You will need to navigate to “Manage Additional Athletes”, select the first child, register then pay, before proceeding to register your second or third child.
Waitlists
Once a category has sold out, please add yourself or child to the waitlist by navigating to “register for events”, selecting the race and then clicking ‘Sold Out, Join waitlist’.
Please only click this button ONCE. If you click multiple times, it will remove you and then re-add you at the bottom of the waitlist.
Cancellation Policy
Entry fees are refundable (less a $25 administration fee) if written cancellation notice is received at athlete@mouvementproduction.com no later than: July 31st, 2026 at 11:59pm at Québec eastern standard time.
After this deadline, all entries are final and non-refundable, and non-transferable, including but not limited to injury, illness, mechanical failure, travel disruption, visa issues, or other personal circumstances.
Athletes are encouraged to obtain personal event insurance where appropriate.
Post-Deadline Withdrawals
Athletes who are unable to compete after the cancellation deadline must notify athlete@mouvementproduction.com as soon as possible.
Maintaining accurate start lists is critical for competition operations, seeding, and broadcast planning. Timely withdrawal ensures opportunities can be offered to other athletes.
Failure to formally withdraw will result in the athlete appearing on the official start list as a DNS (Did Not Start) and may be considered in future participation or seeding decisions at Crankworx events.
Professional communication is an expectation of participation within the Crankworx Series.
Force Majeure
In the event that the festival or competition is cancelled, postponed, or modified due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the organizer (including but not limited to weather, wildfire, government restrictions, public health orders, or
other force majeure events), Crankworx reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion.

Festival Entry (for riders and parents/spectators)
As part of the rider’s race fee(s) they receive entry to the festival for the full week, even on days where they may not be racing. They DO NOT need to purchase a festival pass. Does not include Kidsworx riders, they must purchase a festival pass alongside their entry.
Parents, family members, friends or anyone that is not entered in a race (competing) but wishes to attend the festival MUST hold a festival pass. Festival pass options will be available soon.

MEDICAL SERVICES / FIRST AID MANAGEMENT
First response and medical services at Crankworx MSA are provided by Agence Vert le Raid.
Agence Vert le Raid are experts in first response and extraction. Agence Vert le Raid provide on course first response across the Crankworx MSA events. Agence Vert le raid provide doctors for a range of endurance and extreme sports events around Québec. Their doctors are used to the specific requirements of athletes and mountain bikers. They run a field medical clinic trackside at the Crankworx MSA event village.
Crankworx MSA, Agence Vert le Raid are committed to proving high quality, up to date, medical services to competitors. Practice is aligned with internationally recognized guidelines.
Concussion is a specific area for focus in mountain biking. Crankworx MSA has a structured concussion assessment and management protocol in place to ensure athletes get the best possible care when affected by a concussion. Agence Vert le Raid is leading the way in developing a mountain bike specific protocol. The aim is to identify athletes at risk of further harm and make sure they can start concussion recovery in the most appropriate way. This process is aligned with recent international concussion research and with Québec protocols. For more information on the concussion protocol please contact athlete@mouvementproduction.com.
Agence Vert le Raid operates a track side clinic for assessing and managing injuries as they happen. The doctors are also able to follow up athletes on site during the Crankworx week as required. This includes follow ups for athletes at risk of a concussion. They are also able to arrange xrays and further treatment through local Sainte-Anne de Beaupré hospital. INSURANCE
All participants must be covered by valid and adequate medical insurance for the entire duration of their stay in Québec, including the period of the event.
Participants who are residents of Canada should be covered by their provincial or territorial public health insurance plan (such as the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec). However, it is strongly recommended that they obtain additional insurance coverage to include costs not covered by public healthcare, such as ambulance services, specialized treatments, and injuries related to mountain biking or other high-risk sports.
International participants are required to carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance that includes, at a minimum:
- Emergency medical care
- Hospitalization
- Medical evacuation and repatriation
- Coverage for accidents and injuries related to mountain biking competitions
All participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their insurance coverage is adequate and specifically includes participation in competitive mountain biking events. Participants agree to assume all costs associated with medical treatment, transportation, and related expenses not covered by their insurance.
By registering for the event, participants acknowledge and accept that the event organizer does not provide medical insurance coverage and shall not be held liable for any medical expenses, injury, illness, or accident that may occur before, during, or after the event.
The event organizer reserves the right to request proof of valid medical insurance at any time, including during registration or bib pickup. Failure to provide such proof may result in denial of participation without refund.
IMAGE RELEASE
As a condition of my participation in Crankworx MSA, I hereby unconditionally and irrevocably consent, authorize and grant Crankworx Events Inc. (“CEI”), the event organizers of each event, and their respective affiliates, sponsors, promoters, advertisers, broadcasters, webcasters, contractors, agents, representatives, licensees and assigns (together, the “Releasees”) all the necessary authority, right and license and permission to use photographs, audio or video recordings, or other forms of recordings that capture my image, likeness, voice or performance (or all of these) (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Images”), in which I may be included in whole or in part, in any manner or media, including print, broadcast, internet media, direct marketing channels, downloadable content and applications, and all other technologies now known or hereafter developed. The Images may be used or exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose whatsoever, and may be altered, modified, changed, combined or incorporated into other works I hereby relinquish any rights I may have in the Images (including privacy, personality and publicity rights. In no event shall I seek or be entitled to injunctive or other equitable relief in connection with the use of the Images. No fees or other compensation whatsoever will be provided to me for or in connection with the use of the Images. I hereby release the Releasees from any and all claims which I may now or in the future have relating to the ownership, reproductions, display, distribution or other use of the Images.
