Crankworx

This is where Slopestyle’s biggest moments come together.

In a major step forward for the evolution of Slopestyle Mountain Biking, Crankworx and the Freeride Mountain Bike Association (FMBA) introduced a reimagined competitive structure designed to elevate the sport, expand opportunity, and sharpen the pathway for athletes at the very top. The Slopestyle Super League (SSL) brings the pinnacle of Slopestyle events under one global banner, uniting legendary venues, next-level courses, and the riders pushing progression forward every time they drop in. From massive crowds to career-defining runs, this is the stage where Slopestyle history gets written.

The result: a clearer, more dynamic global format built to showcase progression, reward consistency, and deliver unforgettable moments on Slopestyle’s biggest stages.

The Structure

The Slopestyle Super League (SSL) introduces a league-based format featuring a Regular Season followed by Playoffs, culminating in the crowning of the Slopestyle Super League World Champions.

Regular Season & Playoffs

Throughout the Regular Season, athletes accumulate points across designated SSL events, building momentum toward the most high-stakes competitions of the year. When the dust settles, the Playoffs begin – where seasons are defined and champions are made.

  • In 2026, all Gold and Diamond Level Events on the FMB World Tour are part o the Slopestyle Super League
  • SSL Regular Season events contribute to an athlete’s cumulative league total
  • For the inaugural 2026 season, all Regular Season results will count

At the conclusion of the Regular Season:

  • The remaining contenders battle it out in Round 1 of the Playoffs
  • The top 3 men and top 2 women automatically qualify for the Slopestyle Super League Finals

Playoffs Format

Round 1

  • In 2026, this round will be hosted at Crankworx SilverStar
  • 18 Men and 9 Women compete for the final spots at the SSL Finals
  • The top 7 men and top 3 women advance

SSL Finals

  • In 2026, the biggest showdown of the season will go down at Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne
  • A total field of 10 Men and 5 Women, combining Regular Season qualifiers and Playoff advancers
  • One event. One stage. One set of World Champions.

Events That Shape the Season

The Slopestyle Super League opens the door to more riders, more events, and a broader global presence at the highest level of competition. Beginning in 2026, the SSL replaces the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship (SWC), setting a new benchmark for elite Slopestyle competition.
