The 2027 Crankworx World Tour Calendar Is Here

Back-to-back festivals in New Zealand, a packed summer in Canada and a grand finale in Québec. Here’s where Crankworx is headed in 2027.

The dates are locked in. The 2027 Crankworx World Tour kicks off in February with back-to-back festivals in New Zealand, then heads to Canada for the summer. From there it builds to the grand finale at Mont-Sainte-Anne in August before the season wraps at Crankworx Summer Series Sugarloaf in New Brunswick.

Looking Back at 2026

2026 was another special season in Crankworx history, with several major firsts. The inaugural Slopestyle Super League (SSL) created a new sporting structure for Slopestyle Mountain Biking that culminated in perhaps the most exciting competition this discipline has seen in recent history, as Mont Saint Anne hosted the first ever SSL World Championship.

We also saw our first ever back-to-back-to-back King of Crankworx as Ryan Gilchrist took home the crown for the third year in a row. Jordy Scott backed up her Queen of Crankworx title by claiming for the second year in a row.

Crankworx Christchurch and Crankworx SilverStar moved up from the Summer Series to the highest level of the Crankworx ecosystem, which solidified their place on the global calendar.

We also added a new destination: Mont-Sainte-Anne hosted the grand finale in its first year and was an outstanding success, bringing Crankworx to one of the most storied venues in mountain bike racing.

Off the course, Crankworx Unfiltered took fans behind the scenes. The series followed athletes on the ground and showed what it takes to make it to the start line. Missed an episode? Catch up on the Crankworx YouTube channel.

2027: A Place for Everyone Who Loves to Ride

Crankworx is built to be the ultimate experience in mountain biking. That means a place to ride, race and have a good time for everyone, from the world’s best to the next generation through youth and Kidsworx programming, as well as amateur and adaptive riders around the globe.

“We’re thrilled to share the 2027 calendar,” said Darren Kinnaird, Managing Director, Crankworx World Tour. “Every stop on this schedule is an iconic riding destination, nestled in a vibrant mountain bike community, and together they give anyone who loves riding bikes a place to be part of Crankworx, wherever they are in the world. We have a lot of exciting things in the works for 2027, so stay tuned.”

Crankworx Whistler

Crankworx returns to where it all began for another action-packed festival. It’s the mountain bike industry’s annual homecoming, with world-class racing, community events and, of course, the legendary parties.

Crankworx SilverStar

SilverStar comes right after Whistler, so it’s the perfect way to extend your time in British Columbia at this legendary bike park. The village may be quaint, but it has repeatedly hosted some of the best athletes in the world and delivers the true Crankworx atmosphere.

Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne

After a standout debut, Crankworx is heading back to Mont-Sainte-Anne for year two and the World Tour grand finale. Fans and athletes are ready to light up this iconic venue in Québec once again.

Crankworx Summer Series Sugarloaf

Sugarloaf returns for its fourth year at Atlantic Canada’s first lift-accessed bike park. It’s one of the purest celebrations of the mountain bike community on the calendar and has grown into a playground for local riders and international athletes alike.
