In September 2026, Mont-Sainte-Anne will host the grand finals of the Crankworx World Tour for the first time. For this inaugural edition, 8 disciplines will be featured, some reserved for the world’s elite, others open to amateur athletes.

SLOPESTYLE

A flagship discipline of the Crankworx World Tour, this is the first time a competition of this kind will be held in Mont-Sainte-Anne, but also in Quebec at the elite level. Larger-than-life jumps and spectacular tricks, all performed with a heavy dose of style!

Slopestyle is where creativity meets technique, as athletes perform impressive tricks on a course filled with jumps, drops, and obstacles. It’s all about amplitude, precision, and variety.

WHIP OFF

A concentrated dose of style and spectacle! On an impressive jump, the world’s best athletes performs whips, combining commitment and mastery. No stopwatch: only talent counts when it comes to impressing the judges.

Fuelled by the atmosphere and enthusiasm of the crowd, the Whip Off is one of the most iconic moments of Crankworx.

AIR DH

A downhill race where speed is everything. On a challenging, fast course, the athletes tackle one jump after another without ever letting up.

Stopwatch in hand, full commitment: the Air DH embodies a modern vision of downhill racing—aerial and explosive.

Downhill (DH)

The iconic event at Mont-Sainte-Anne, the downhill race is the ultimate test of speed, technique, and courage. True to its reputation, the MSA DH track offers rides a steep, long and demanding descent, dotted with rocks, roots and impressive jumps. This is a race where riders must push their limits, combining precision and aggression at full speed to achieve the best time.

Cross-country – Olympic (XCO) and Short-track (XCC)

A flagship discipline in the history of mountain biking at Mont-Sainte-Anne, its legendary cross-country trails will provide a unique challenge for the Quebec City stop on the Crankworx World Tour.

The XCO event promises to be a spectacular show where the athletes’ technique and endurance will be on full display, while the XCC will offer speed, strategy and plenty of fast-paced action.

DUAL SLALOM

The Dual Slalom event pits two athletes against each other on practically identical parallel courses filled with sharpe turns, rollers and jumps. In this format, every fraction of a second can make the difference in the race to the finish line.

PUMPTRACK

A race all about rhythm and precision! On the asphalt circuit of Mont-Sainte-Anne, athletes will seek to fin the perfect trajectory to generate maximum speed without peddling. Every movement counts, and the clock makes all the difference in this intense and technical format.

KIDSWORX

The platform for our young athletes. A long-standing tradition at Mont-Sainte-Anne, first as the Vélikids and then as the Kidovélo in more recent years, amateur races for young riders have always been a resounding success and the best time to introduce the next generation to the world of mountain biking.

Please note that push-bike are allowed, but not bikes with stability wheels.
