Crankworx Rotorua Day Two Was A Dream

Waking up to blustering winds and heavy rain… maybe not quite the dream we wanted… but a dream nonetheless.

Why?

When we tell you just how much the riders rallied to hold epic practice sessions on the Downhill and Pump Track courses, we mean it.

Unwilling to give in to the test that Mother Nature proposed, athletes took to the beautiful trails of Rotorua, New Zealand and gave it their all.

From Brook MacDonald crushing it on the Downhill track to Tomas Lemoine absolutely dialled in on the Pump Track course, yesterday was… you guessed it… a dream.

Take a look at some of our favourite shots.

It’s already been an eventful two days out here at Crankworx Rotorua, the final stop of the 2021 Crankworx World Tour, but we can’t wait to see what else is in store for us.

On the schedule today, we’ve got more Slopestyle and Downhill training, as well as the first live broadcast event, CLIF Speed & Style presented by Mons Royale!

Check out the full Crankworx Rotorua schedule to make sure that you never miss a moment of the action.

P.S. We’ve got to give a huge shoutout to our incredibly talented photo crew who not only captured these highlight moments, but did so during less than favourable conditions.

Make sure to follow along as Clint Trahan, Jay French, and Joel McDowell continue to show us through Crankworx Rotorua!
