Crankworx Leaves Its Mark on Mont-Sainte-Anne – And a New Legacy Begins
This September 3-7, Crankworx descends on Québec hosting a full-blown mountain bike festival at the highest level – and Mont-Sainte-Anne is going all in. The iconic resort is unveiling a line-up of new trails built specifically for the 2026 Crankworx Finals, headlined by a one-of-a-kind Air DH jump line unlike anything else in the province.
The New Air DH Trail
Get ready for 2.2 km of pure flow. The new Air DH line is rock- and root-free, packed with more than 25 jumps, and fully serviced by the mountain’s lift system – meaning riders can lap it all day without the grind back up. It’s built for speed, big air, and smooth, high-consequence riding. It’s not only going to be one of the most-watched disciplines of the week but also an incredible legacy created for the local community.
More New Terrain to Ride and Watch
The Air DH trail isn’t the only new addition. A 300-metre Dual Slalom course brings head-to-head racing through gates, berms, rollers, and jumps – a first for the venue, and a great watch for spectators. Crankworx’s signature discipline, Slopestyle, will also make its Mont-Sainte-Anne debut, with a Diamond-level course reconfigured after the event into a permanent training facility for the discipline.
Course design credit goes to some serious mountain bike royalty: former King of Crankworx Bas van Steenbergen helped shape the Slopestyle and Dual Slalom lines, in collaboration with Canadian pro rider and renowned course builder Matt MacDuff on Slopestyle.
Eight Disciplines, Five Days, One Legendary Mountain
During the five-day festival, Mont-Sainte-Anne will host eight Crankworx disciplines, bringing together the pro and amateur riders for a week of world-class competition. It’s a historic moment of Crankworx bringing the highest level of the event series to Québec, kicking off a five-year run at Mont-Sainte-Anne through 2030. Adding another layer of excitement to the festival, the first ever Slopestyle Super League Finals will take place at Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne: A winner-takes-all battle of the very best athletes fighting for the grand title.
