Best Viewing Spots

Here’s where to catch all the action during the festival – event by event.

OG CDN OPN DH

Head to the finish corral in Skiers Plaza, or make your way up alongside the trail for a closer look. Whistler Mountain Bike Park is active during this event – stay outside the tape at all times.

Kidsworx & aMTB Air DH

Watch alongside the track at Lower Crank-It-Up and C-More. Note that this race finishes 500 metres up Mountain Road – about a 15-minute walk from Skiers Plaza, starting at the yellow gate East of Fitzsimmons Chair (next to bus loop).

Specialized Canadian Open DH

This race runs on the iconic 1199 trail in the Creekside zone of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Hike up alongside the course for great views, including the famous rock garden – but stay outside the tape at all times. Note that Whistler Mountain Bike Park is active, so stay off all bike trails. The terrain is steep and loose. Wear suitable footwear and clothing.

For an easier vantage point – and amenities – catch the finish at the Creekside Timing Flats. Shuttles run from the base of Creekside (in front of the Legends Hotel), and parking at the Creekside parkade is free. VIP access is also available – tickets online.

Official Whip-Off World Championships presented by POC, Dual Slalom & Rhapsody Slopestyle

All three take place in the Whistler Boneyard, sitting atop Skiers Plaza: easy to access with great viewing throughout. For the best seats at Rhapsody Slopestyle, go VIP (tickets online).

Crabapple Hits World Championship

The newest event on the schedule, held in one of the most popular sections of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Walk up Mountain Road (about 30 minutes) to watch the Freeride action.

Please note: No open fires or smoking of any kind, including cigarettes and vaping. No alcohol or dogs permitted on Whistler Blackcomb property.
