Started in: 2010
First pro winners: Jill Kintner (USA) and Mitch Ropelato (USA)
2023 pro winners: Kialani Hines (USA) and Tuhoto-Ariki Pene (NZL)
Whistler Bike Park Trails: Crankworx Pump Track at Base 2 on Blackcomb Mountain

Ultimate Pump Track Challenge Location: “The Boneyard”, located at the base of Whistler Mountain.

The Pump Track sees two riders line up head-to-head and drop into a maze of berms and rollers, each racing to cross the finish line first. The catch? No pedaling allowed.

Chains off. Game on.

Strength, momentum and skill are the name of the game in this arena where pedal-less power reigns supreme and a single mistake can cost the victory.

SPECTATOR ACCESS DETAILS:

– Spectators may walk up from Skier’s Plaza through the fenced in walking path (right hand side of Mountain Road, along the red fence) and across ‘Heart of Darkness’ road crossing

– There is no access from the Bike Park to pump track

– The only viewing locations in the Boneyard will be from the top side of the pump track

– The event is livestreamed from down in Skiers Plaza

– No dogs allowed in the Boneyard
