RACE LICENSES

Do I require a license?
- No license checks will be performed, as athletes are automatically registered upon registering for the race.
- Athletes with UCI International Licenses are required to enter their license numbers during online registration.
Do I need a WORCA (Whistler Off-Road Cycling Association) membership?
- No.

Option 1: Non Passholder Enduro 2 day pack 37$

Includes 2 day route specific uploads and 2 TOTW uploads
This will allow for 2x route specific uploads.

If you use both in one day you will need to purchase an additional lift pass for the following day.

Option 2: Passholder TOTW add on (route specific)

Please note if you have a twilight pass you will need to purchase the Enduro 2 day pack.

PROTECTION RULES
Full face helmet with peak mandatory for all riders. Gloves, elbow and knee protection mandatory for riders 15 and under.

COURSE
The course will be announced Friday ahead of the race, followed by training Saturday and racing Sunday. The number of stages will also be released when the course is released.

TIMING EQUIPMENT
Athletes will be given one timing chips:

Timing chip is to be installed on the athletes’ bicycle on the right lower fork leg, facing outward and remain in place for the duration of the day.
Athletes who suspect their timing chip may be damaged due to an incident must notify the finish or start timing marshal at the stage which it occurred.
Timing chips are the responsibility of the athlete and failure to wear the timing chip may result in disqualification.

All timing chips must be returned to the timing tent at the conclusion of Stage 5. Failure to do so will result in a $100 charge.

PRIZES
A total Prize Purse of $16,800 CAD will be awarded to the Canadian Open Enduro Elite Men and Elite Women podiums.

TRAINING PERIOD
The course will be open to racers only during designated official Training time, Saturday July 27^th 9:00am to 3:30pm for all categories. Official training hours are subject to change and will be clearly communicated.

LIVE-TIMING, RESULTS & AWARDS
Live Timing will be available during the race. Click this link for the Live Timing (only active during the race).

Official results (with penalties) will be posted on the Crankworx website following the race.

ON-SITE TEAM SETUP
Team setup areas is available in Whistler Municipal Parking Lot 2, close to the finish area. Registration for the Team Setup Area is required and space is limited. Please contact Ben Darlow with Crankworx Whistler at ben@crankworx.com.

DIRECTIONS
Whistler is 140kms (2h 15m) north of Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Whistler is a pedestrian village and the Athlete Centre, Bike Park, shops and restaurants are all easily accessible by foot / bike. A vehicle would not be necessary once you are in the Resort. There is a public transportation, taxis and a dedicated pedestrian & bike path to access Whistler Creekside which will also host stages of the race.

An important consideration if driving to whistler is parking. Overnight and free daytime parking is very limited. See www.whistler.ca/services/transportation/parking for more information.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Entry fees are refundable (less processing fee) providing cancellation notice is received in writing to athletes@crankworx.com by the registration deadline. Registration deadline is July 21, 2024 at 11:59pm PDT. All entries are non-refundable or transferable after the registration deadline (even in the case of injury or mechanical problems).

Competitors who need to withdraw after the registration deadline should email athletes@crankworx.com to confirm their withdrawal otherwise they will appear on the start list as a DNS.
