Jordy Scott and Ryan Gilchrist Crowned Queen and King of Crankworx as Permanent Courses Debut at Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne
Mont-Sainte-Anne, QC, September 6, 2026 – After a Downhill final and the first-ever Official North American Whip-Off Championships presented by RAG drew big crowds to the hill yesterday, the weather that had made for a soggy start to the week finally cleared, and the weekend has delivered perfect conditions. The site was buzzing well before today’s finals, with Amateur, Elite, and Kidsworx racing running alongside a packed expo and an engaged community turning out in force.
Today’s headline events, Air DH presented by Velosolutions Canada and the first-ever Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne Dual Slalom, both raced on courses being built as permanent additions to the mountain – a lasting legacy for the local riding community long after the festival packs up, before the inaugural Slopestyle Super League Finals take the stage.
Jordy Scott Secures Queen of Crankworx crown with Air DH Gold
Reigning Queen of Crankworx Jordy Scott took the win in a tight Air DH race against newly-crowned Crankworx Mont-Sainte-Anne Downhill champion Mille Johnset. The victory was Scott’s first-ever Air DH podium, and it secured her the Queen of Crankworx title for the second year in a row. Taylor Ostgaard rounded out the podium, just 0.183 seconds ahead of O’Connor, who narrowly missed the top three.

Speed King Ryan Gilchrist Clinches Air DH Gold
On the brand-new track, Ryan Gilchrist and Tegan Cruz were separated by less than a second, the two King of Crankworx contenders trading the tightest of margins all the way down. Gilchrist ultimately took the win and the 100 points that came with it, stretching his King of Crankworx lead out slightly further ahead of Cruz. Tristan Lemire rounded out the podium, edging out Bas Van Steenbergen, who’s spent this week not just racing but also being involved in the the Dual Slalom and Slopestyle course build.

Jordy Scott Doubles Up In Dual Slalom
Jordy Scott put the cherry on top of her day, already sitting on Air DH gold and the Queen of Crankworx title, with another win over Mille Johnset in the gold medal match-up. Dual Slalom specialist Martha Gill landed on the podium in third after advancing through the quarterfinals when Scott moved on. Just missing the podium for the second time today was Isla O’Connor, continuing an incredible debut Elite season on the Crankworx World Tour. Today’s results move O’Connor into second in the Queen of Crankworx standings, with Johnset now third.

Ryan Gilchrist’s Third Crown
The men’s semifinals delivered heated head-to-head battles, with Tegan Cruz facing off against Bas Van Steenbergen while Ryan Gilchrist met Tristan Lemire. Cruz and Gilchrist both advanced, setting up a final between the two top King of Crankworx contenders who’ve faced off like this many times over the years – but never with stakes quite this high. A crash on Gilchrist’s first run of the gold-medal matchup put the result out of reach early, and Cruz took the Dual Slalom gold. Even with the loss, Gilchrist’s silver was enough to secure the King of Crankworx title for the third year in a row, with Cruz closing to within 62 points. In the small final, Tristan Lemire pushed Bas Van Steenbergen off the podium to claim bronze.
