Dawid Godziek, known for his creativity on two wheels, is gearing up for the 2024 Crankworx World Tour season with Specialized. With a new season on the horizon, Godziek deep dives into his strategy for the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship (SWC), a new partnership with Specialized, and exciting projects for the year ahead.

Always one to push the boundaries of mountain biking, the Red Bull rider emphasized the level of “precision, innovation, and consistency” that will be required to win a SWC event this season. Making us wonder what we might see at Maxxis Slopestyle in Memory of McGazza at Crankworx Rotorua, he added that “pushing the boundaries with new, technically challenging tricks while maintaining flawless execution will be crucial.”

“After finishing last season as the runner-up in the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship, my strategy for the 2024 season is focused on continuous improvement. I aim to bring a higher level of consistency and creativity to each competition, striving for the top spot and the championship title this year.”

Having recently announced his new partnership with Specialized, Dawid has a clear vision on what the pair will bring to the world of mountain biking: “My partnership with Specialized is an exciting collaboration that aligns with my goals of pushing the boundaries in mountain biking. Working with an industry leader in innovation like Specialized allows me access to cutting-edge technology and resources. Our shared vision is to elevate the sport and push the limits of what’s possible.”

Driven by his passion to test the boundaries of the sport, Godziek shared where his motivation comes from and teased another exciting project in the works: “When it comes to trying new things, I find inspiration in always attempting harder stuff on my bike. I love the excitement of pushing the boundaries and want to contribute to making the sport better. And yeah, for competitions this year, I’ve got some new tricks up my sleeve that I’m really excited to show everyone! I’m also really excited about a new video project with Red Bull. It’s something totally fresh and different. I’ll be getting ready for it soon, and I can’t wait to start filming. Projects like these keep me pumped and motivated to do creative things in biking. Plus, it’s a great way to reach a new audience and promote mountain biking.”

With new tricks ready to be unveiled and Crankworx Rotorua approaching, the Specialized athlete gave his thoughts on the upcoming event: “I’m excited to improve on my performance from last year. I like the track a lot, and I think I can make my ride even more awesome. Success, for me, means showcasing my best riding, having fun on the track, and hopefully landing on the podium. Fingers crossed for a fantastic event!”

With a mix of determination, innovation and an exciting new partnership, Dawid is set to leave his mark on the mountain biking world once again.
