The 2026 Crankworx Whistler Dirt Diaries Field Is Set

2025 Crankworx Whistler Deep Summer Contestant Announcement

Crankworx Whistler isn’t just about competition – it’s a stage for storytelling and community. Dirt Diaries celebrates the spirit, creativity, and culture of mountain biking through film, in a contest that has produced some of the most unforgettable edits in the sport.

Each competing filmmaker assembles a crew of up to six people, including athletes, filmers, and editors. In a short window before the Crankworx Whistler festival, these teams get together to concept, shoot, and produce a four to six-minute film with at least 25% of the content being captured in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park or surrounding valley trails. Their shared goal: showcase more than riding;they must tell a unique story that resonates with a global audienceand jury of experts.

This year’s theme is Resilience in Motion”, inviting contestants to capture what it truly means to be part of the mountain bike community. From riders and builders shaping the sport, to the landscapes that challenge and sustain it; After their public screening at Whistler Olympic Plaza during the Crankworx Whistler festival on July 30, a jury of experts will judge all submissions based on theme, storytelling, creativity and originality, technique, and attention to technical detail. Always a must-attend event on the festival schedule; fans, friends, and the mountain bike community gather under the summer skies to celebrate emerging talent, shared stories, and simply a good time.
