In this fast-paced arena, pedal-less power reigns supreme as riders battle head-to-head on a continuous circuit of waves and berms. Pumping, pulling, and pushing for speed, these epic races are where the most intense battles of the festival take place. One mistake, and victory is lost.

Friday 18th September – 10:00am NZST
- Athlete registration will go live to all Crankworx Athletes for the Christchurch and Rotorua Downhill events only.
- This is your chance to secure your Downhill entry before they are released to the wider public.
- All registered competitors for Christchurch or Rotorua Downhill events will receive early access to entries for the other events at both festivals ahead of the wider public sale.
Friday 25th September – 10:00am NZST
- Registration for all other Christchurch and Rotorua events will go live for registered Downhill riders only (anyone that secured a Downhill entry prior to this date).
Friday 2nd October – 10:00am NZDT
- General athlete registration will go live to the public for all events at both Christchurch and Rotorua festivals.
Please note Kidsworx registration for the festivals will not open until December 2026 (for riders aged 6-12 years).
No onsite registration available.

Entry Fee
Entry Fee: $96.68 NZD (includes GST and fees)
Includes athlete accreditation for access into the venue for the event week.
Cancellation Policy
All entry fees, minus a $15 NZD administration fee, are fully refundable for any reason up to 30 days prior to the official registration closing date.
All entry fees, minus a $15 NZD administration fee, are eligible for a 50% refund for any reason, up to the official registration closing date.
All entry fees are non-refundable or transferable after the registration deadline of TBA at 11:59pm (even in the case of injury or mechanical problems). After this deadline, no refunds will be issued except where required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable law.
If the Event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled, you may be entitled to a refund or credit in accordance with applicable law.
Refund requests must be received in writing to nzathletes@crankworx.com.
Competitors who need to withdraw after the registration deadline should email nzathletes@crankworx.com to confirm their withdrawal otherwise they will appear on the start list as a DNS.
