Crankworx to Launch Brand New Global Enduro Race Series 

Positioned as the ultimate celebration of the mountain bike community, Crankworx is excited to announce its plan to launch a global Enduro race series starting in 2027. With the goal of providing a consistent and global calendar for Enduro athletes, Crankworx sets a clear focus on what matters to riders, sponsors, and destinations. 

Returning to its roots, the global series is to bring Enduro back to its core: Fun, adventure, participation for all and discovering the best trails in the world. The essence of Enduro is engrained Crankworx DNA is all about: access to all, community, and showcasing the world’s best bike destinations.  

“It’s really exciting to see a new international Enduro series starting up, especially when the people behind it have as much Enduro experience as the Crankworx crew”,says Greg Callaghan, legendary Enduro racer. “I’m really excited to see what this new chapter holds for Enduro!”

One thing riders can count on: the iconic Canadian Open Enduro will be on the calendar. Three weeks after wrapping the 2026 Canadian Open Enduro at Crankworx Whistler – arguably one of the most notorious events in the sport – event organisers, partners, and athletes are still buzzing from the event, and already looking ahead to what 2027 brings.
