Crankworx Whistler Schedule Update

In a decision informed by the current weather forecast, the following changes have been made to the Crankworx Whistler schedule:

Thursday, August 14

Specialized Dual Slalom

Tight head-to-head racing battles in the elite category will go down on Thursday instead of Sunday, with finals scheduled to take place from 2pm-3:30pm in the heart of the Whistler Boneyard.

Outdoor Research Trick Showdown

The newest addition to the festival – a NBA Slam Dunk style event on two wheels – has been moved to Thursday, 5:30pm-7pm.

RockShox Canadian Open DH

Taking the stage on the legendary 1199 trail, Group B training and racing will remain on the schedule for Thursday, with finals taking place 3:30pm-5pm

Kidsworx Dual Slalom Challenge

The next generation of shredders take on the Dual Slalom course right above the Boneyard from 10am-2pm.

Lots more is going on at Crankworx Whistler on Thursday – Dirt Diaries at Whistler Olympic Plaza or Red Bull Joyride practice just to name a few. Fans can catch the action on site or watch the Specialized Dual Slalom finals and Outdoor Research Trick Showdown live on Red Bull TV

What’s coming up later this week?

We are currently working through the remaining schedule and will communicate any changes closer to the weekend. Group A finals of the RockShox Canadian Open DH will be moved to the weekend, and Crankworx aims to accommodate all currently scheduled events.
