Crankworx World Tour

The Crankworx World Tour is a global phenomenon: a multi-stop celebration of mountain biking that unites the sport’s top athletes, rising talent, and the industry at large. Spanning multiple continents, each festival showcases world-class competition across disciplines, provides a platform for the next generation of riders, and brings the global mountain bike community together.

Born in Whistler in 2004, Crankworx has grown into the largest event series in mountain biking – an annual pilgrimage for riders, fans, and industry leaders from around the world.

Under the Crankworx Summer Series umbrella, regional festivals bring Crankworx-caliber racing to emerging mountain bike destinations, creating opportunities for local athletes to line up alongside the world’s best and putting new riding communities firmly on the map.

Across the World Tour, Crankworx hosts elite-level competitions, amateurs categories, CWNEXT events for junior athletes, Kidsworx contests for our youngest riders, participatory events, and celebrations of mountain bike culture – each showcasing incredible destinations.

In 2026, the Crankworx World Tour will travel to Christchurch, Rotorua, Whistler, SilverStar, and Mont-Sainte-Anne. Click through to learn more about each of these unique festivals and start planning your next Crankworx adventure. All Downhill and Slopestyle competitions will be broadcast live on the Crankworx YouTube channel and Pinkbike.
