Crankworx Innsbruck Day 4: The Slopestyle Files

Today, Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle athletes outwitted gravity.

Well, for the most part.

While there were wicked moments of tricks and triumph, there were also those tragic gnarly falls that even the best of riders can’t outsmart at times. But, amidst the throw-down of adrenaline and athletic discipline, one thing was clear: Slopestyle rocks.

The high-energy in the athletes’ runs & jumps were felt by the crowd and viewers at home as the hype poured in on social. We are forecasting that the stoke will continue into tomorrow, as we prepare to witness deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club, where international and local riders will race against the clock and, ultimately, to the podium.

But before we say hello to what will be the last day of our live broadcast, we’re rounding up our top picks from our photographer Clint Trahan’s selection of epic shots from Slopestyle Saturday. Scroll down and enjoy.

Kicking things off for Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle. Little did we know the insane show that we were in for.
Things were pretty sick out on the track. The views were pretty exceptional too.
Okay… come on. If that’s not rad enough for you then we don’t know what is.
All the excitement really got to some of the spectators.
In the end, we saw three incredible riders take to the podium after putting down jaw-dropping runs.
