SKODA North Island Schools MTB Championships

An inter-school competition meets an international Mountain Biking Festival. An opportunity to represent your school in Enduro, Cross Country, Teams Relay and Downhill racing.

Crankworx Rotorua and the Rotorua Mountain Bike Club will co-host the 2024 SKODA North Island Schools MTB Championships, as part of Crankworx Rotorua in March 2024.

All students that compete in the SKODA North Island Schools MTB Championships will receive free spectator entry to Crankworx Rotorua 2024.

Who can compete?

The following age categories are available for Year 7 – Year 13 Students to race individually:

U20, U17, U16, U15, U14, U13 boys and girls.

Team Races are available for Year 7 – Year 13 Students in the below categories:

Senior (U20) Boys and Girls
Junior (U16 – Year 7 & 8 can ride in a Junior team) Boys and Girls

Mixed teams must ride in the boys category.

Students and Parents – reach out your school’s Sport Coordinator or Teacher in Charge for more information on how to get involved! You’ll need this school contact to help sort your registration (cannot be done by individuals).
