People, Purpose, and The Crankworx Shop

We are beyond stoked for the launch of the Crankworx Shop.

When we began brainstorming what types of products we wanted to bring to the table to represent the spirit of Crankworx, we thought of a few key things: products we were excited about, designs that captured the spirit of Crankworx, and companies with sustainability at their core.

The first two were easy. Our team is made up of passionate riders and outdoors enthusiasts. Within our team is a core crew of creative minds – minds that have dreamt up many of the ideas and concepts that have made Crankworx what it is.

The final one? For that, we needed a little help from our friends.

So, as we unveil the Crankworx Shop to you, we’re also proud to introduce you to the companies who helped bring our visions to life, while sharing our core values of quality and sustainability.

OUR PARTNERS

7mesh

To create the Crankworx Signature line, we’ve partnered with 7mesh, the premium line of alpine-grade gear and apparel for road and trail riding. Designed in Squamish, British Columbia, 7mesh apparel is carefully-made so that the Crankworx Signature Line pairs technical performance and quality with Crankworx stoke.

Seasoned pros, spirited beginners and riding enthusiasts, here’s looking at you.

From our friends at 7mesh, their “goal is to create bike apparel that stands the test of time, with innovative shapes, premium fabrics and advanced fabrication methods like bonded seams and Clean Finish tailoring. All so that when you’re ready to go again, so is your gear.”

Cycle Dog

You don’t need to ride a bike to be a part of the #crankworxfamily – sometimes, all it takes is love for those who do. That meant we definitely needed to create something for the four-legged friends in our lives, too.

To support your trail rides and afternoon adventures with your best bud(s), we’ve partnered with Cycle Dog to create a no-stink upcycled leash and portable travel bowl for those special guys who make the ride better.

From our friends at Cycle Dog, their “goal is to create durable dog products with a focus on the environment and to raise awareness of the millions of bike tubes thrown into landfills every year. Hand sewn collars, leashes, toys beds and more are proudly made and tested in Portland, Oregon. Since 2009, Cycle Dog has reclaimed over 2 million discarded inner tubes targeted for landfills.”

CamelBak

An adventure is only as good as you are hydrated, and with the help of this partner, thirst has met its match.

We’ve partnered with CamelBak to bring you a line of Bike Bottles and Vacuum Stainless Steel water bottles and drinkware to be by your side – on the trails or wherever your next adventures takes you.

“We envision a future without single-use plastic water bottles. It’s a big goal but the good news is we already have the solution and it’s literally in the palm of our hands. Our reusable water bottles and drinkware are easy to use, easy to clean, easy to carry, and forever taste-free.”

OUR COMMITMENT

In combination with our love for the merch partners that make this collection awesome, we want to acknowledge the behind-the-scenes production partners for our fan apparel.

Ethical sourcing and production methods have been a cornerstone of the work that’s gone into the Crankworx Shop. We’ve worked with our production partners to ensure that our Crankworx Fan Zone gear, namely our tees and hoodies, are WRAP-certified. WRAP is a globally-recognized certifying body that ensures ethical working conditions for garment makers around the world. That means that you can count on the fact that your purchase from the Crankworx Shop is made with care for people, ensuring that workers are in safe & humane working conditions and are paid a living wage.

WRAP also considers environmental practices as part of its certification. With the principles of Greenworx at the heart of what we do, we’ve taken care to mitigate our impacts on the environment throughout the production of the Crankworx Fan Zone. With recycling programs and energy efficient equipment in place across our production partners’ facilities, the garments that you purchase from the Crankworx Fan Zone are thoughtfully produced without traditional harsh chemicals.

We couldn’t forget about the toques, either. Not only are these toques ethically-made by a Canadian woman-owned company, but they also have a cashmere-like feel. We know, we’re excited too.

We’re proud to stand for respect and dignity for people and the planet. Read more about our values at Crankworx on our Who We Are page.

The Crankworx Shop is waiting for you #crankworxfamily.
