Media Accreditation for Crankworx Whistler 2023 is now open!

Online media accreditation is officially open! Any questions can be made to the Media Centre Manager, Kyle Taylor: kyle.taylor@crankworx.com. Once your information has been received, our team will review your application and be in touch regarding next steps.

If you have signed up at the link above and received confirmation of your accreditation, your accreditation package will await you at the Media Centre (2023 location TBC). Here is everything you need to know to ensure that you have a successful festival and stack those shots!

What’s up with the Media Centre?

Please stay tuned, we will be announcing the host property for the 2023 Crankworx Media Centre shortly! The room will be equipped with WIFI, AC, power, water, snacks, drinks, and enough tables and chairs to accommodate everyone. There will also bike racks located nearby for your use. The Media Centre hours are below, please make sure to plan around this schedule. Food and drinks will be delivered every morning and every afternoon.

What does check-in look like?

When you arrive in Whistler, make your way to the Media Centre (stay tuned for 2023 location) during our operating hours to sign your waivers and receive your accreditation package. You will receive your media pass, accreditation tier, and park pass if you need it. Make sure to do this before you start shooting, without accreditation you will not have access to any of the media areas.

What tier of accreditation will I receive?

You will be sorted into tiers according to the nature of your assignments and projects. If you need a level of access that has not initially been provided to you, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note that we may not be able to satisfy all requests due to limited space in each tier.

How do I get my park pass?

We will be distributing passes at check-in. You will receive a pass with a number of days that is consistent with the events you have indicated that you will be shooting. If plans shift or you need more days for your project, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can I bring food and drinks into the media centre?

Yes! We will be stocked with snacks, but outside food is permitted. Outside alcohol is not. You are, however, welcome to grab an outside non-alcoholic beverage bring it into the media centre with you.
