Crankworx World Tour

GIANT Toa Enduro presented by CamelBak

Rotorua has been the host town for three rounds of the Enduro World Series taking place in 2015, 2017 and 2019. In 2020, this Asia/Pacific Series race will take place in the Whakarewarewa Forest, known for its “dirt gold”, lush forest, rooty goodness, and over 160km of epic mountain bike trails – the perfect destination for enduro riding and racing.

Riders competing in the Giant Toa Enduro presented by Camelbak, part of the EWS Asia Pacific Series, will get the chance to explore this magical land and some of the most challenging singletrack the Southern Hemisphere has to offer.

LONG COURSE (pedalled ) – EWS Continental Series

The Long Course event will consist of 6 stages all taking place in the mighty Whakarewarewa Forest. This event will be Round 1 of the Asia/Pacific Continental Series, meaning racers competing in the event will be eligible to collect EWS Global Ranking points.

SHORT COURSE (shuttle assisted)

The Short Course event is every rider’s opportunity to experience the Giant Toa Enduro presented by Camelbak without biting into the full meal deal right out of the gate. The Short Course event will consist of 4-5 stages and will be on grade 3 and 4 trails only.

There will be a significant amount of pedalling required to transition between stages, but there will be shuttle options for selected stages to provide an opportunity for the legs to have a bit of a rest. In this way, this is a “shuttle assisted” race.
