Deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club

On Sunday all eyes will be on the downhill course in Mutters. This natural and raw track, packed with jumps, roots and technical sections, will see top international riders and fast locals go up against each other in a race against the clock. This spectacular event is perfect for spectators looking to get loud and up close to the action as some of the best in the world show off their speed and skill.

The Deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club will be broadcast LIVE on Red Bull TV and Crankworx.com.

2022 Technical Guide


Online registration will open on Monday April 11th at 17:00 CEST
Registration Deadline: Friday June 3 at 23:59 CEST (unless race sells out in advance)
There will be no onsite registration.

Competitors will need to create an account and set up an athlete profile. The account and athlete profile will be used for all Crankworx festivals and events moving forward. Only one account and profile is required. Once an athlete profile is created, competitors can register for races through their profile. For competitors 17 years and younger, a parent can create a profile and add their children under “Manage Additional Athletes”

Entry Fee:
Elite + Masters + U19 Categories: $116 CAD (including 20% VAT)
U17 Categories: $101.50 CAD (including 20% VAT)
Entry includes Athlete Accreditation + one Athlete Support Festival Ticket

Cancellation Policy
Entry fees are refundable (less processing fee) providing cancellation notice is received in writing to athletes@crankworx.com by the registration deadline. Registration deadline is June 3 at 23:59 CEST. All entries are non-refundable or transferable after the registration deadline (even in the case of injury or mechanical problems).

Competitors who need to withdraw after the registration deadline should email athletes@crankworx.com to confirm their withdrawal otherwise they will appear on the start list as a DNS.

Minimum age is 15 as of December 31, 2022 (year of birth 2007)


All racers will need to have an international UCI license issued by their national cycling federation. No one-event licenses will be available

Licenses must be presented at the onsite checkin.  Photos and digital confirmations accepted.


Training Group A = Elite + U19
Training Group B = U17 + Master


U17, U19, Masters: 1 Run, Finals Only
Elite: Seeding Run, Finals

U17, U19 and Masters: Start order will be based on a combination of current UCI DH rankings and Crankworx World Tour DH Series Rankings and results.
Elite: Start order will be based on seeding run results.


The 2022 Austrian National Championship will happen under the roof of Crankworx Innsbruck on Saturday June 18. All Austrian athletes who would like to compete in the ANC have to sign up for the deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club and will automatically be drawn to the starting list of the ANC.

This also gives them the opportunity to race the Innsbruck DH on Sunday June 19.

  • There is no separate registration for the ANC.
  • There are no extra spots available for the ANC if the Innsbruck DH reaches capacity and sells out.
  • Austrian competitors are not allowed to race in the Crankworx Seeding Run on Saturday.
  • Elite Austrian competitors will be seeded according to their result time in the Austrian Championship for the Innsbruck DH finals on Sunday
  • Austrian competitors in the Elite and U19 categories can train in Group B training on Saturday June 18 before the ANC race.
  • All race rules are according to UCI specifications.

The prize giving for the ANC will happen on Saturday after the last racer.

The Austrian National Championship categories include:

MEN | U19
MEN | Elite
WOMEN | Elite
MEN | Master 35+


Following rules apply during both training and race days. It is MANDATORY for riders to wear:
– A full-face helmet
– Knee, elbow and back protection
– Gloves with full hand protection
– Shirt with at least short sleeves

A neck brace and shoulder pads are highly recommended.
Helmets must be full face and of a one-piece design. Slimmed down ‘Enduro’ full face helmets are not advised. Helmet straps must be closed on course.


For DH Teams or Privateer pit space, reservations are required. To reserve a space in the designated Tech Area, an online booking form will need to be completed.
