Join the folks from Freehub Magazine and Specialized, as well as Curtis Robinson and Dylan Dunkerton from the Coastal Crew and Mark and Will from the Free Radicals, as we unite to give a little back to the trails and the riding community we all love. We’ll be doing some trail work on the heels of the CamelBak Canadian Open Enduro presented by Specialized, Round 6 of the Enduro World Series.
We’ll be meeting on Thursday, August 16 at 8 a.m. at the Freehub booth in Whistler Village near the Fitzsimmons lift in front of the Longhorn. We’ll have coffee and donuts for volunteers at the booth before we head out to do repair work on the EWS course.
There will also be a 9 a.m. group ride to the trail, with the crew from WORCA. Details TBD.
Trail work will begin at 9 a.m. and wrap up around 12 p.m. WORCA will provide tools as well as direction for the trail day, so all you’ll need to do is show up with your bike and a positive attitude!
After noon we’ll all head back to Tapley’s Neighbourhood Pub and enjoy a free beer and free lunch provided by Specialized Bicyles and Gibbons Hospitality Group.
Come one, come all, give the trails some love, and get a taste of the community spirit that makes Whistler’s riding scene what it is.
