March 16 – 24, 2024
Crankworx Rotorua took flight in March of 2015, becoming the first Crankworx festival outside of North America and Europe. Since then it’s played host to some of the most memorable moments in Crankworx history. The Rotorua stop of the World Tour has a unique mix of riding and culture. Tikanga Māori (Māori customary practices) are woven into every aspect of the festival. From the traditional Tewhatewha (a traditional ceremonial weapon) awarded to the King and Queen of Crankworx, the traditional carvings placed around the site, and most of all the manakitanga (hospitality and generosity) of the people.
