Kidsworx gives groms a chance to get out and ride alongside all their mountain biking heroes. Hang out in the Kidsworx area, with daily activities, demos and coaching opportunities for younger bikers. Kidsworx events are open to kids ages 6-14 with competitive options for those keen for a challenge or participatory events for others wanting to join for the fun of it all.

Outside of the event, Rotorua is one of NZ’s best family destinations. Nowhere else in NZ has such a combination of awesome outdoor activities, genuine cultural experiences and amazing natural beauty. Check out some of the walking trails around the stunning local lakes, catch a traditional Māori cultural performance, speed down Mt Ngongotaha on the world-famous luge, and then finish the evening with a family dinner at one of the delicious spots to dine along Eat Streat.

Family passes start at NZD$160 for a 2 adult + 3 child multi-day ticket. This includes entry to all days of the festival from Wednesday 4 March 2019 – Sunday 8 March 2020, as well as unlimited Gondola access for sightseeing.
