Course Build
From April 10th 2023, Main features of the Crankworx Cairns courses will closed for construction. During this time, please do not enter any fenced off area and be mindful of machinery when using the park.
Venue Closure
From May 2nd – May 26th 2023, the Smithfield MTB park will be closed for Crankworx Cairns. During this time, access to MTB tracks may be impacted, please follow direction of signage around the park. No entry is permitted into the venue during this time without consent of Crankworx Cairns organisers.

Locations
The Crankworx Cairns festival takes place at James Cook University, Smithfield. 88 McGregor Rd, Smithfield QLD 4878.
Parking
Parking is available at the JCU car park, follow the signage and direction of volunteer. Parking costs $5 per day.
Bike Parking
Bike racks are available at the festival. Please bring your own bike locks.
Water Filled Stations
We kindly ask you to please bring your own water bottle, water refill stations available on site.

Bike Paths
James Cook University has good pedestrian and cycle access from most locations. The campus has ample bike parking and a wide network of paths and bike lanes.
Local spectators and event staff are encouraged to walk or travel by bicycle to the Cairns campus. The Event will supply additional bike parking facilities within the event site. The venue is located approximately 16kms from the CBD.
Cairns Regional Council have maps available to help you find the best and safest route to campus from wherever you are staying.
