REGISTRATION PROCESS:

• All participants are to book and pay online via the booking platform
• Online registration will open soon

HELMETS AND PROTECTIVE GEAR

• All Kidsworx participants must wear an Australian Standards approved bike helmet (open face is OK) and suitable riding gloves
• Other forms of protection are also recommended such as knee and elbow pads
• Any adults riding with Kidsworx participants must also follow the above guidelines

DAY OF ACTIVITY INFORMATION – important stuff to know

• All participants must arrive at the Kidsworx Zone within the Crankworx event village 30 minutes prior to advertised start times. This is important so we can ensure all registered riders are present, have the appropriate protective gear and a suitable bike.
• All Kidsworx participants must have a parent or guardian present at registration, all parents/guardians also must have a valid 2023 CWX day pass
• Upon arrival at the Kidsworx Zone all parents/guardians will be required to sign a waiver/release form for their children participating in the on-bike activities

FIRST AID

• The 2023 Cairns Crankworx and Kidsworx activities will be supported by a professional First Aid Response Team, including a dedicated triage centre on site within the Smithfield MTB Park

INSURANCE

• Travel, medical and liability insurance is recommended when travelling and competing at any Crankworx World Tour event. A basic accident insurance policy is provide to you by Flip Insurance when competing or participating in a Crankworx Cairns event. Check out what you’re cover for here (link PDS). This event accident insurance does not replace your personal responsibility for having your own travel, medical and liability insurance.

IMAGE RELEASE 

• As a condition of my participation in Crankworx Cairns, I hereby unconditionally and irrevocably consent, authorize and grant Crankworx Events Inc. (“CEI”), the event organizers of each event, and their respective affiliates, sponsors, promoters, advertisers, broadcasters, webcasters, contractors, agents, representatives, licensees and assigns (together, the “Releasees”) all the necessary authority, right and license and permission to use photographs, audio or video recordings, or other forms of recordings that capture my image, likeness, voice or performance (or all of these) (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Images”), in which I may be included in whole or in part, in any manner or media, including print, broadcast, internet media, direct marketing channels, downloadable content and applications, and all other technologies now known or hereafter developed. I acknowledge that drones may be used in capturing these images and accept that they may be flying above me. The Images may be used or exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose whatsoever, and may be altered, modified, changed, combined or incorporated into other works I hereby relinquish any rights I may have in the Images (including privacy, personality and publicity rights. In no event shall I seek or be entitled to injunctive or other equitable relief in connection with the use of the Images. No fees or other compensation whatsoever will be provided to me for or in connection with the use of the Images. I hereby release the Releasees from any and all claims which I may now or in the future have relating to the ownership, reproductions, display, distribution or other use of the Images.
