With an incredibly successful start to her career as a junior, Miranda ‘Millertime’ Miller has been around for almost as long as Crankworx itself. She started riding trails in Pemberton around the age of eight, and by her mid-teens was podiuming at Crankworx Whistler, while soaking up every moment of stoke that makes the festival what it is – growing up around the festival, she’s got a roster of memories that range from watching Brandon Semenuk take home his first win at Red Bull Joyride, to getting Steve Peat’s autograph. Her favourite event? The Garbanzo DH, which she’s podiumed in half a dozen times between her Junior and Pro years. “The majority of the trails used in the Garbanzo DH are amongst my favourites to try and go fast on, and then I also enjoy the added challenge of such a long track. The level of competition is so high now you can’t afford to make mistakes or back off at any point.” As this Crankworx veteran continues to grow and evolve, so do her goals.
