Logan ‘LP’ Peat has been a fixture on the Crankworx slopestyle scene for a decade, after qualifying for an open event and making it to finals in 2007, when he was just 17-years-old. He had been jumping and shaping his pro mountain bike career since he was 13, but the experience one-upped it all. He describes it in one word: scary.

“It was a huge event with massive features. I was just happy to qualify and get to the bottom in one piece. The final feature in 2007 was the same size as the final drop in 2016. By far the biggest thing I had ever hit at that time,” he said.

Over the course of his Crankworx career, Peat has come close to the podium on several occasions, with two fourth place finishes and two fifth. Despite just coming up short of the box, he says there have been many amazing moments, including his 2016 performance.
