For Crankworx fans, the name Daryl ‘Sharky’ Brown was relatively unknown until 2016. Brown says he was riding bikes “before he could walk,” but started officially competing at 15-years-old. He was a regular on the Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) circuit for a number of years, but didn’t make his way to Crankworx until Les Gets in 2016. It was there that he made the world take notice, storming the Crankworx Les Gets Dual Speed & Style and claiming the top spot on the podium.
