Still living in Bend, most likely will be a lifer! Love this place and grateful to grow up here.
What first got you in to mountain biking?
My good buddy and I picked up an issue of decline with a Kirt Voreis article in it at age 10, and decided it’s something we needed to get into. We proceeded to bug our parents about getting us dirt jump bikes, and eventually they did! Been playing in the dirt since.
Where’s your favourite place to ride?
Oregon Dirt Park, or Queenstown NZ!
When did you decide this is something you wanted to do professionally?
I decided I loved riding bikes so much that I wanted to make it my life at age 14!
Describe your first Crankworx experience.
My first Crankworx experience was Whistler 2009. I was a grom who nobody knew, and had the time of my life racing A Line, Giant Slalom, and rode the river jumps everyday!
What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment to date?
3rd place and best trick at RedBull Rampage 2016
What’s been your favourite Crankworx memory so far?
My first RedBull Joyride in 2014, was an unforgettable feeling making a run and making it to the finish corral.
Do you have any projects on the go or any goals you’re working towards?
I have many film projects coming up over the next couple of years, some big some small. Also always striving towards success in Rampage every year. Slopestyle competition is also a hugs passion of mine and something I want to lean more towards the next few years.
Beyond bikes, what other things are you in to?
I love riding moto, snowboarding, and anything that elevates my motivation and perspective of our sport!
