Crankworx Rotorua

Crankworx Rotorua took flight in March of 2015, becoming the first festival outside of North America and Europe. Since then, it’s played host to some of the most memorable moments in Crankworx history and is now referred to “the soul of Crankworx” due to the unique ability to combine riding with culture.

Crankworx World Tour

The Crankworx World Tour is a multi-stop series of mountain bike festivals, bringing together the best mountain bike athletes to compete in elite-level competitions in a variety of disciplines. It began in Whistler in 2004 and its festivals have since grown into the largest events of their kind in mountain biking.

Crankworx World Tour festivals also host races for amateurs, a category for CWNEXT (junior amateur) athletes, Kidsworx contests for our youngest riders, participatory events, and celebrations of mountain bike culture, all while showcasing amazing destinations.

The 2024 Crankworx World Tour will be travelling to Rotorua, Cairns, Innsbruck, and Whistler. Click through to learn more about each of these unique World Tour stops and start planning.

Crankworx Summer Series

Crankworx Summer Series

Crankworx Summer Series (CSS) is a mountain bike festival that brings a taste of the Crankworx action to new riding destinations outside of the Crankworx World Tour.

It’s the pathway to Crankworx-caliber racing, staged in new, epic locations outside the Crankworx World Tour. Summer Series festivals bring together pinned locals, top amateurs, and up-and-coming youngsters, while attracting top riders keen to mix, mingle, and drop in.

The CSS brings together the best of summer (sun, road trips, bikes, friends, party shirts, adventure, ice cream) with Crankworx festival vibes. It’s an undeniably local experience, elevated to the world stage.
