New for Kokanee Crankworx 2009 is a community kick-off party to launch the biggest mountain bike festival on the planet.

The Block Party takes place in Skiers Plaza, and will showcase the premier of Radical Films latest epic, Kranked-Revolve on massive outdoor screens. The best part -- it’s FREE, along with autographs & interviews with riders & producers of Kranked. There will be great prizes… and a few special surprises!

The Garibaldi Lift Company has partnered with the celebration by carrying a live indoor feed of the movie premiere, where the party roll on for the 19+ age set with a full evening of live entertainment with DJ Mr. Fister and plenty of glacier fresh Kokanee.
