Competitor Relations - functions as a liaison between staff and competitors and assists with answering general inquiries during the registration process. Race experience, either competing or organizing registration, an asset. If you want to meet the stars of the events this position is for you.
Sport Crew - An on hill position that puts you directly involved with all the action. You will be responsible for assisting with race venue set up, maintenance and tear down. Other responsibilities include helping at the start or finish area and ensuring safe and correct travel on course by all competitors. This outdoor position requires a self sufficient and highly motivated individual. Downhill bikes, helmet and intermediate riding ability may be required.
Logistics Assistants - Responsible for ensuring volunteers for each day are checked in and out for their appropriate department and shift times. They will assist the Volunteer Coordinator with various tasks throughout their shift such as phoning volunteers about upcoming shifts, following up with paperwork, volunteer prizing, and wrap up party details. The Assistants may also be required to pitch in and help any areas of the festival. An adaptable attitude and outgoing personality is required. Any experience in customer service would be great.
Expo Crew - Your important role as Expo Crew is to ensure all aspects of the village Expo run smoothly. Attention to detail and adaptability are essential. You will assist with anything that may be required by the Expo participants, such as tent set up/tear down, garbage maintenance, recycling, security. This position puts you in the excitement of the village action.
Media / VIP Accreditation Crew - In this role, you must be a knowledgeable representative for Kokanee Crankworx. You will be responsible for distributing Media and VIP accreditation / gift packaging, program guides and answering event or Whistler Village questions.
Branding Crew - Responsible for maintaining the look of the festival. The placement of branding and banners changes daily for each event and the branding crew makes it all happen. If you have an attention to detail, good hiking shoes and an adaptable attitude, this position is for you. Ideally the branding crew would like consistent volunteers throughout the festival so grab a friend and sign up today!
Endurance Volunteer Opportunity - Kokanee Crankworx is offering a limited opportunity to become an Endurance Volunteer and learn from the best in the event business. If you are looking for event experience for your resume or schooling becoming an Endurance Volunteer is for you. The only catch is that you have to be available for more than 5 days, for 6 hour shifts and you must be older than 19.
