General Spectator Access

There will be three marked entrances from Skiers Plaza in Whistler Village, guiding spectators to designated walking routes up the mountain.

Look for these:

  • Next to the Garibali Lift Co. (GLC)
  • Next to the Fitzsimmons Chairlift
  • Parallel to Mountain Road (up the Family Cross bike trail)

Please note, Mountain Road is closed to foot traffic this year. This is for safety/security and athlete access. There will be no spectators permitted on Mountain Road, other than the designated walkway for VIP access.

Designated walking paths will give spectators access to four General Spectator viewing zones, providing amazing views of the course.

Key information for spectators:

  • Alcohol is not permitted on the mountain – there will be bag checks at the base.
  • Smoking is not permitted on the mountain or anywhere on Whistler Blackcomb property. If you need to smoke, you will have to leave the Village Stroll and follow the rules and regulations of Whistler Bylaws. For more information, head over to the municipal website for more information on Whistler’s smoking regulations.
  • Bring snacks, but help our volunteer crew – pack out what you pack in!
  • No bikes are permitted up the course – this saves more room for spectators inside the venue.
  • No pets are allowed on the mountain. Please leave your dogs, cats and parrots safely at home.

Bike Valet

The Whistler Bike Valet Free and Secure Bike Parking will be located in Day Lot 2, next to the Exhibition and Pit Zone courtesy of the Resort Municipality of Whistler and Whistler Blackcomb funded through Day Lots 1-5 revenues.
