ultimate pump track challenge
in Partnership with monster energy

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

It's all about speed, flow and flair.  The crew at Monster Energy has teamed up with Kokanee Crankworx to launch the newest event in the cannon of events during our 9-day freeride party. Pump Track glory is now up for grabs on the Whistler Mountain Bike Park’s brand new Pump Track at the top of the Boneyard. The event is open to the first 60 pro men and 25 pro women who register who then will be culled down through a time trial event to establish a finals field of 32 men and 8 women. The finals will be the ultimate "mano-a-mano" battle with a bell ring and knuckle-knock start, riders will drop chasing each other on a 25 second course chock full of berms, doubles and gaps. We'll have a $500 cash grab pot for the best antics dropped randomly through the night plus winning male and female will each go home with $750 cash. Pump it up people!
