Crankworx Rotorua is back for 7 days of action, from 19 to 24 March in 2019.
The first day will give spectators free access to the Dual Slalom event on Tarawera Rd; a gateway to some of Rotorua’s best riding.
From Wednesday 20 March to Sunday 24 March spectators will require tickets to access the final 5 days of the event at Skyline Rotorua. Events at Skyline include: Air DH, Pump Track, Dual Speed and Style, Slopestyle, Downhill and Kidsworx events.

If you’d like to add on a VIP pass, you’ll need to purchase a General Admission ticket first and after the payment is confirmed, a link will be sent to your email with an option to additionally buy a VIP pass upgrade through a second transaction.
Bike and bike park uplifts will be sold separately onsite at Skyline Gravity Park.
I’ve bought my ticket, will I need anything else to get in?

I bought a family ticket. Does my whole family need to arrive together?
No, you can come and redeem your tickets separately. Just make sure to bring some form of ID that matches the details provided when the ticket was sold.
I can be a VIP?
Sounds cool, what does that get me? VIPs get exclusive access to prime viewing locations for specific events. In addition you will receive
• 2 × complimentary drinks + canapés during the live broadcast event sessions.
• VIP Parking once accredited (for all days of the event)
• 10% discount on merchandise (upon presentation of your VIP accreditation pass).
Rad! I want to be a VIP, how does it work?

Once you have purchased a General Admission pass, you will be sent a link to purchase VIP add on sessions separately. So, General Admission gets you in the door, VIP Add ons get you in the VIP zones.

Will I be able to leave and re-enter the event during the day?
Yes, there will be pass-out controls in place.
If you lose your ticket prior to redeeming your wrist band for access, You will be able to reclaim tickets at the ticket redemption booth. Remember to bring ID with you and your email purchase confirmation.
Can I give my ticket away to someone else if I’m not coming on a particular day?
No, tickets are sold on an individual basis and are non-transferable.
Can I get a refund if I don’t come for a particular day?
We won’t be offering partial refunds, all full event tickets purchased are valid for every day of the event.
Is there anything I can’t bring to the event?
You will not be able to bring any alcohol or glass, or illicit drugs, or drones (without prior consent). Bag checks will be in operation.
Animals are not permitted on-site of Crankworx or Skyline venues. The only exemptions to this rule are assistance animals trained to assist a physically impaired person in one or more daily life activities, including but not limited to Guide Dogs for the Blind, Companion Dogs for the Deaf, Canine Companions for Independence, or those associated with a comparable nationally recognised organisation.
As a general rule Drones are not permitted at any of the sites as part of Crankworx Rotorua. In special cases, a permit to fly a drone may be granted provided that the user has received permission from the Crankworx Rotorua Management team, and Civil Aviation Authority. The Crankworx Rotorua Management team have established a process for facilitating the use of drones. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Parking maps will be available closer to the event, follow us on Facebook to be kept in the loop. We encourage you to park away from the event centre and take the available public transport to the venue.
I’m no longer able to attend can I get a refund?
Refunds are available for up to 30 days before the event begins.
The weather isn’t looking too good and I’ve changed my mind, can I get a refund?
Refunds are available for up to 30 days before the event begins. From that date on we will not offer refunds on the basis of inclement weather. In the case of inclement weather, we will look to postpone rather than cancel events. Our goal is to deliver all events within the event dates.
