Kidsworx Arena:

The Kidsworx Arena is designed for children 12 and under (and their family) to get amongst bikes their own size. This zone offers demo bikes, daily activities, as well as extra coaching opportunities to help youngsters get in on the action.

All children require a General Admission pass to access the Kidsworx Arena. There is no pre-registration required for this activity.

Kidsworx Events:

The Kidsworx Events are an opportunity for kids aged 6 to 12 years of age to enter in either Kidsworx Challenge events (non-competitive) or Kidsworx Races (competitive).

Online registration opens: Wednesday 17th January 2024 @ 10:00am NZDT
Registration Deadline: Sunday 10th March 2024 @ 11:59pm NZDT.
There will be no onsite registration.

Riders must register in the same age category for all events (please carefully check the year of birth outlined for each age group to make sure your child is in the correct category based on their year of birth).

Riders can only ride in either all competitive events (races) or all non-competitive events (challenges).

To register, please login into the Crankworx Registration Platform

For competitors 17 years and younger, a parent can create a profile for themselves and add their children under “Manage Additional Athletes”. The parent account and athlete profile will be used for all Crankworx festivals and events moving forward. Once an athlete profile is created, competitors can register for races through their profile.

**Please note, you can only have one tab open in a browser at a time to register an athlete. If you are a parent registering multiple children, you can only register one child at a time. You will need to navigate to “Manage Additional Athletes”, select the first child, register then pay, before proceeding to register your second or third child.
*Waitlists: Once a category has sold out, please add yourself or child to the waitlist by navigating to “register for events”, selecting the race and then clicking ‘Sold Out, Join waitlist’. Please only click this button once. If you click multiple times, it will remove you and then re-add you at the bottom of the waitlist.

All children require a General Admission pass to compete in any Kidsworx Events (race entry fee does not cover festival site access).

Cancellation Policy

Entry fees are refundable (less processing fee) providing the cancellation notice is received in writing to athletes@crankworx.com by the registration deadline. Registration deadline is TBC. All entries are non-refundable or transferable after the registration deadline (event in the case of injury or mechanical problems).
