Like many, when Conor ‘C-Mac’ Macfarlane started riding bikes, it was more about function, “to school and back started it all,” but that changed when he got into his early teens as started entering cross-country races, a passion that soon took hold and took him all over New Zealand, and beyond, to Oceania Champs, Junior worlds, etc. In 2011 he made his way to Crankworx Whistler to, like many, take in all the action as a spectator, setting the foundation for what was to come. Since then, especially as Crankworx took root in his home country, Macfarlane has begun to make a name for himself on the Crankworx World Tour circuit. His goal for the 2017 season? “Ride bikes and have fun!”
